I recently enjoyed working with Rian Evers, Misha Koole, Julia Spoelstra and Clara van Eenooghe on a Keti Koti trail. This is the link to the site of Het Wilde Westen: https://www.hetwildewesten.nl/activiteit/keti-koti
I am very happy with the result, the fine cooperation, the wise words and the enthusiasm of the children of group 6 and 7 of the 2e Marnixschool in Utrecht!
This is the acoustic version of my previously unreleased song, Ghost Town. This is the acoustic version of my previously unreleased song, Ghost Town. Steve Savage and I played a few songs together on my houseboat, and this is the first in the series. Perhaps there will be a studio version someday. Steve's beautiful guitar lines make this version particularly special.

After sailing with her partner on various ships for 16 years and then working "ashore" for many years, Sioe began her musical journey in 2019 when she decided to put her passion for storytelling to music. In late 2022, she released her debut album, The Waves Of Time, which features clear influences from 1970s Laurel Canyon music, but without losing sight of her own distinctive musical characteristics. Her captivating way of writing and singing touches people. Her songs deal with universal topics such as (lost) love, loneliness and the struggle of life, but in addition she does not shy away from touching on emotionally charged subjects such as incest and the history of Indonesia -and more universally: of refugees. In 2023, she released 2 singles, quit her band and continued solo. Meanwhile, there are enough new songs on the shelf for the next album, but she doesn't seem to be in a great hurry. The most important thing for her at the moment is to explore different ways of performing her music. Of course, she continues to write and share stories that touch your soul, in which melody and lyrics seem to be inextricably linked.
The Waves Of Time is released privately by Sweet Sioe Music.
